” In the day “,  after Vidal Sassoon – the Paul Mitchell company allowed me the invaluable opportunity to learn & work back stage with some of the biggest names in the business at many large hair shows in Las Vegas, LA and Chicago.  Today I find myself comfortable and in my own happy yellow building @ Scottsdale & Shea Blvd., surrounded by some of most Warm, Inviting and Genuine Hair Stylists working anywhere in Scottsdale today.  I constantly nudge them and myself to keep an open “eye” and “heart” as to what is really taking place in the world of style around us.  Genuine, Creative, Fresh, truly Advanced Hair Cut and Hair Color Techniques. Great looking hair has a profound affect on individual self-esteem.

I do all of the actual design & physical work that goes into creating Choppers Hair Salon.   It is a great feeling to please and entertain others with work produced with my own hands.  Choppers Salon décor is really not intended to be a “design”.   It is a “collage”.  A collection of personal likes and dreams. It is filled with color, images, music memorabilia, the beach, surfing, Buddha & Spirituality in many different forms.  Things that make me smile.  Heart warming things.  A personable, entertaining and constantly evolving space.  A space people might look forward to visiting again as well as another truly Enjoyable Hair Experience.
